The Luminous Oculus and Enigma Series

This is a series of sculptural objects of mystery and contemplation. Oculus meaning eye, and enigma meaning mysterious or difficult to understand, are apt descriptions of these works. They play with the light, space and material surfaces and are in essence hypnotic. As the ambient light in their surrounding environment changes, they change as well and pick up various light reflections from the space which follow you as you move by them. Spot lights transform each of them into magical, mysterious spheres of brilliant color and texture.
